How to Watch The WB Outside the US

The WB by The Warner Brothers is on amazing collection of TV shows and movies available for streaming online. That is if you are located in the US – in this guide I will tell you how to get access to all the content from outside the US.

See the trick is to make WB think you are located in the US. Like so many other online services WB will determine your location by looking at your IP address and you will be meet by the following message “The WB can only be viewed in the United States.” In order to get around this you will have to get some virtually reside in the US.

How to Make the WB think you are in the USA

As mentioned above the WB will use your IP address to determine your location. In order to get around this you have to connect to a Virtual Private Network also know as VPN. By doing this you will get connected to a server in the US acting as a middleman between you and the WB. Since the WB will only see the middleman they will allow you to stream – it is that simple.

I am afraid that not all VPN providers are born equal, and I had to go trough quite a few before I got the desired results. This is due to the fact that video streaming requires plenty of bandwidth available at the VPN providers end. I finally ended up with Unlocator and have been really satisfied with the quality. The setup is very easy on both PC and Mac as all you have to do is download a small app and then select the server you want to connect to. It is dead simple and takes about 3 minutes from start to end.

So if you want to watch the WB outside the US or any other US only service for that matter, then a VPN is the way to go. As a bonus all my web traffic is now encrypted and my computers are a lot safer as a result.
