NBC has a million shows such as Americas got talent, Law and order, 30 Rock, Battlestar Galactica and so on. Basically they have months worth of great content all ready to be streamed online – unless you live outside the US.
I am guessing you already knew this. Otherwise you would not have landed here looking for a solution to unblock NBC.
The solution to unblocking NBC
So I am not going to bore you anymore and instead go straight to the solution: VPN. If you have no idea what I am talking about I referring to Virtual Private Networks. A VPN connection will allow you to connect to a server located in the US. This server will act as a middleman between you and the website you are trying to connect to. Because all your traffic is going trough the VPN server it will look like you are located within the US and that is why NBC will allow you to watch their content afterall.
How to get a VPN account
Getting a VPN account is easy. Getting a good one is not. Many providers have bad speeds and that is not what you want when streaming video – trust me on this one. We have tried quite a few providers over the years and the one that stood out above the rest is Unlocator (I suggest the 6 or 12 months package).
Once you have set up an account with Unlocator they will send you all the info you need to connect to their server within a couple of minutes. Once you are connected you can start viewing.

but it nbc, abc, etc don’t stream over roku, so how does one access them in or out of US?
