Not many people want to admit it, but one of the things they miss the most when they go abroad is the TV-shows from back home. One of the best ways to watch TV online is by using Hulu. For those who don’t know Hulu it is by far the best way of streaming American TV online. The only problem is that Hulu does not stream outside the US officially, but I have made a guide with a little trick that will allow you to watch Hulu outside the US. How to make Hulu work outside the US
See the problem is that Hulu will check your IP address to see where in the world you are located. Don’t worry if you don’t know what and IP address is, but it is the dead give away of your location so Hulu can easy block you from seeing their shows.
So what we need to do is obtain an American IP address. The best way to do this is to use a VPN connection. VPN stands for Virtual Private Network and what it does is connect you to a server that will act as a middleman between you and the website you want to reach. If the server is located in the US then Hulu will think you are too – this is by far the best way to unblock the service and allow you to watch Hulu outside the US.
How to get a VPN account to Watch Hulu Outside the US
A VPN account is not free but it is well worth the small investment. Besides allowing you to unblock just about every country specific US service you will also get a much safer online experience as all 
you traffic is safe when accessing wireless networks etc. When streaming video it is important to get a fast and reliable VPN provider. I have been around town and tried quite a bit off different services before I ended up at Unlocator. I have personally had the best result with this service and since the setup is done by a small app for either PC or Mac it is much easier to get started than a manual VPN connection. The 6 and 12-month packages have the best discounts, but go for the 1-month package if you just want to test it out.
Once you have signed up with Unlocator they will send you a welcome e-mail with your account info and links to setup guides. Don’t worry about the setup as it is pretty easy and besides they have 24/7 live support on the site if you get stuck. This really is a no brainer if you enjoy all the great shows on Hulu as much as I do. This trick works for Hulu Plus too – I have a trick to get around the credit card problem as well.
