These days there are no shortage of video on demand services with thousands of tv-shows and videos ready for streaming. Only catch is that they only stream within the US. Unfortunately this includes Amazon Instant Video – however, there is a way around that.
How to trick Amazon Video on Demand
See Amazon will take a look at your IP address when determining your location. So what you need to do is obtain an American IP address in order to fool Amazon. You can do this by using a cool little app from Unlocator. The app works on both Mac and PC and it allows you to select a city in the US where you want to hide. Simply select the city, click connect and now Amazon thinks that is your location. That is all there is to it.
The application has the ability to test out what server will give you the fastest speed from your location. This will ensure that you get the most out of your connection and it really is a handy little tool.
An added bonus when using this method is that your net traffic will be encrypted. As a result hackers can no longer sniff packages from your data traffic when you are using Wi-Fi hotspots and other open networks. Nice little add on if you ask me.
Anyhow that is all there is to it if you want to watch Amazon Prime Video outside the US. It is straight forward and should not take you more than 5 minutes to set up. You can sign up for Amazon Instant Video here.

One of my interested customers in the UK told me he needed a US credit card tied to a US address, even with a VPN. Is he missing something?
European based Visas Cards work just fine.
Use this method for the PS3 – the method for Amazon and is the same http://vpnfreedom.com/playstation-3/tutorial-how-to-get–on-a-ps3-outside-the-us/
