The USA Network has a lot of content available for streaming online – that is if you live in the US. If not you have to use the following trick in order to get streaming to work, but fear not – it is very easy to setup.

If you access to USA network from outside the US everything looks fine in the beginning until you try to start a video. Then the player will simply not start the video no matter how many times you try. You won’t even get an error message. The problem is that the USA Network website has detected your location via your computers IP address. This is a number you inherit from Internet provider and it will reveal your location to any website you visit (City and country only) and thus make it very easy to block access.

Fake Your Location and Watch USA Network from Anywhere in the World

As you might have guessed the solution is all about making USA network think that you are located in the US even though you are not. Since your IP address is the giveaway sign of your location it is this number we need to change. This is done by connecting to what is known as a Virtual Private Network (VPN), which will allow you to inherit an IP address from a location of your choosing.

I use Unlocator as they have great speeds and servers located all over the world. This makes it very easy to unblock websites and services when travelling abroad the US etc. Simply sign up for an account with Unlocator and install the application on your PC or Mac and then connect to one of their servers located in the US by selecting it from the list in the application. It almost sounds too easy and it really is.

Besides enabling you to watch USA Networks outside the US it also adds extra security to your computer as all data traffic that your computer sends and receives becomes encrypted making it impossible for hackers to sniff data from your machine.

Anyhow that is all there is to it. It takes about 5 minutes to setup VPN and then you are ready to go. If in doubt watch one of the videos below.
