The HBO Now service allows you to stream all the top HBO show like Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, and Veep without the need for a US cable subscription. Unfortunately HBO Now is only available in the US. However, there is a way around that.
All you need to do is use Unlocator, which can make HBO Now think you are located in the US.
Unlocator is a DNS service, which can make sure that HBO Now will think you are located in the US regardless of your actual location. It’s super easy to get started:
Unlocator works with a long range of devices and apart from HBO Now you can unblock 200+ streaming services.
Unblocking HBO Now on the Apple TV is just as simple as any other device. First set up the Unlocator DNS on your computer to create an account. From then on follow the Apple TV configuration guide to set up the Apple TV to use Unlocator DNS. Don’t forget to change the iTunes Store location to USA on your Apple TV in order for the HBO Now app to appear.
For you need setup your device to use Unlocator in order to be able to create a HBO Now account. Once you have done so you need to follow the setup guide for the iPhone, iPad or iPod. Check out the guides here.
Since the HBO Now app is not available in the US you need to create a US app store account in order to get the app. Please see this guide to create a US app store account without a US credit card.
This is really all it takes. Finally you can get access to all the lovely HBO Now content no matter where in the world you are located. Enjoy and stream away.
