Channel 5 has a great online service called Demand 5 that will allow you to stream all the hit shows online. However the service is only available in the UK unless you use the following trick.

If you try to watch a video from Channel 5 while not located in the UK you will be meet with the following statement: “The video you are trying to watch cannot be viewed from your current country or location”. So what you need to do is fake your location in order to get access to the Demand 5 content.
You do this by connecting to what is called a Virtual Private Network. The short term is VPN and it will allow you to have all your traffic routed trough a secure server in the UK. Since the secure server will act as a middleman between you and Channel 5 the website will think you are located in the UK as well and allow you to stream. That is all there is to it – piece of cake.

As you can imagine it will require a little more bandwidth than normal web browsing to watch video. That is why you will need a good VPN provider. The best one for this purpose is UK based Unlocator. Their app will allow you to simply select a city in the UK where you want to appear and click connect. That is that and now Channel 5 will think you are located in the UK and you can now stream all the content you want. It could not be any simpler.
