Did you miss the final of your favorite discipline or would you simply like to relive the intense moment where your national team secured a medal? Well fear not as BBC has tons of game videos online available for streaming. The only problem however is that the content is only available in the UK. In order to get access to the Olympic videos you need to use the following trick.

If you visit the BBC Olympics website and try to stream the closing ceremony or any of the other videos you will be meet with the following message ā€œI’m sorry, we can’t show this content in your area.ā€ But how do they know where Iā€™m located you ask? Well your computers IP address is the give away and it is this number you need to exchange in order to watch all the Olympic content over again.

Fake Your Location and Watch the Olympic Reruns

Exchanging your IP address for a UK based IP address is very simple. All you need to do is sign up for an account with a VPN provider. I prefer using Unlocator as the speed and quality is great. Once signed up you can install their application on your Mac or PC and then select a server from the list in the application and click connect. 10-15 seconds later your computer will have a UK based IP address and you can now reload the BBC website and then you will have access to all the Olympic content you could wish for.

What About NBC ā€“ They Have Olympic Reruns too?

This is true but the problem is that you need to a cable subscription in order to stream NBCs Olympic coverage. If you do have a subscription and find yourself located outside the US at the moment then the above technique will work for you as well. Instead of connecting to a UK server with the Unlocator application then connect to a US server and log on to the NBC website.

So whatever game you missed out on and no matter where in the world you are located you can use the above method to watch the Olympic reruns as you please. Only thing to not is that the content might not be available for a long period of time so if you wish to catch up you better hurry.
